Safety....first and foremost!

Safety Features
1. Solenoid purges gases in cylinder when unit is powered off
When the HDTI unit is shut down by vehicle ignition shut off, the solenoid automatically purges all hydrogen within the system to the free air. Hydrogen is only combustible when confined or contained so venting the hydrogen at shut down prevents any possibility of combustion.
2. Mechanical Rupture Disc
This is a high pressure safety feature that will automatically shut down the HDTI unit at 66psi at 72oF and release any build up of pressure.
3. Low & High Level Sensors
This is referring to the fill levels of steam distilled water. If the unit is in low level, the HDTI unit will automatically shut down because there is not enough water for it to operate. The high level sensor tells the operator that the unit is full and fill cycle is complete.
4. System fuses to protect vehicle's electrical system
The HDTI unit is in line with the power draw from the ignition wires and battery power lines. The HDTI unit's fuses protect the vehicle's electrical system from any possible overload.
5. Hoses & Fittings
The hoses and fittings are designed to withstand 250psi at 80oC to ensure that they can withstand the necessary buildup of pressure within the system.
6. HDTI is built to pressure vessel standards
The HDTI unit is built to pressure vessel standards to ensure that it can safely withstand the necessary buildup of pressure.
7. All electrical wiring and components are enclosed in a steel cabinet where necessary
All electrical components are enclosed to protect them from weather, moisture, accidental damage, and meddling.
8. High electrical component standards
All electrical components are specifically designed for individual tasks and are manufactured to stringent high standards.
9. Engine run sensor
The HDTI unit is protected from accidental start up by the engine run sensor that will only allow the system to operate when the vehicle's engine is running.
